With the aim of promoting agricultural products that has new possibilities in Nepal, GCI has decided to invest in coffee farming which can be massively produced all over Nepal. The company is planning to cooperate with farmers to produce and market the coffee in national and international level. For this purpose the company is conducting research in the areas where the coffee plantation can be done.
To meet the huge demand of Nepali coffee in international market, the company has made the necessary arrangement to export the locally grown Nepali coffee all over the world. This year the company has planted about 5 thousand plants in the western part of Nepal. Next year, the company is planning to provide coffee plants to farmers of different district.
